Someone Tweeted Pictures Of Babies Taking X-Rays And The Internet Is Mesmerized

A viral tweet exposing the uncomfortable way that babies take x-rays, garners a variety of responses on Twitter.

Turns out babies and small children are crammed into a tube whenever X-rays need to be taken (anyone else adding this to the ‘Ya Learn Something New Everyday‘ list?) and it’s equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

I don’t know whether to ‘awww’ because he looks like Pillsbury dough ready to bust out of the can or whether to ‘ahhh’ because this legit looks like torture and I’m not with it one bit.

This contraption is called a Pigg-O-Stat and according to the company’s website, it is “an all-in-one pediatric immobilization device designed for positioning infants and young children for an appropriate x-ray without significant complications.”

TW: Dark Humor Ahead

Twitter user @mowziii tweeted out pictures of babies being X-rayed and many seem to find the pictures hilarious, making jokes:

One user called out the creators for the name of the device:

Parents show (and tell) about their own kids’ experiences:

When one user questioned where the babies’ legs go, users commented with funny responses:

Yet, there are quite a few that didn’t find this particularly funny…

This user made a suggestion for those whose panties were in a twist to relax:

Yea, in all my years of life, how am I just now learning this?
