Lily Collins discusses being visited by the ghosts of Ted Bundy's victims while filming the biopic 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.'

Lily Collins says that the spirits of the victims of serial killer Ted Bundy were trying to communicate with her during her filming of the serial killer biopic “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.”

Collins plays the longtime girlfriend of Ted Bundy in the film, Elizabeth Klopfer, says that while filming she was awaken every night at 3:05am on the dot.

In an interview with Observer magazine, Lily had this to say about her nightly paranormal experiences:

“I would go downstairs and have a cup of tea, trying to figure out why I had woken up again. I started being woken up by flashes of images, like, the aftermath of a struggle.”

After doing a bit of her own research about waking up at 3am, Collins said that she was lead to believe the time has a real significance.

Collins told The Observer why she felt the timings of her sudden wake-ups meant something.

I discovered that 3am is the time when the veil between the realms is the thinnest and one can be visited.

Lily also said that she doesn’t think the spirits were there to harm her, but instead were there to encourage her in her role.

I didn’t feel scared – I felt supported. I felt like people were saying: ‘We’re here listening. We’re here to support. Thank you for telling the story.’
