Actor Luke Perry Passes Away At 52-Years-Old, After Suffering Massive Stroke

Actor, Luke Perry, an actor on The CW’s Riverdale and the iconic ‘90s show Beverly Hills, 90210, has died, multiple sources have confirmed. He was 52.

According to THR, a rep for Perry said that the actor was pronounced dead this morning, after suffering from a massive stroke this past Wednesday.

The representative for Perry made this statement about his death:

“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”

The 52-year-old was hospitalized last Wednesday, very close to the time that Fox announced an upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot.

Perry who played Dylan McKay in the original run of the famous 90’s series, did not appear to be involved in the upcoming reboot of 90210.

The actor recently starred in three seasons of The CW’s hit series “Riverdale.”
