(VIDEO) Arkansas Police Officer Fired After Shooting Chihuahua

Arkansas Sheriff Deputy Keenan Wallace is fired by after camera footage emerges of him shooting a Chihuahua.

Disturbing footage of a Faulkner County (AR) Sheriff shooting a small Chihuahua sparked some very intense backlash yesterday on social media.

Cell phone footage shows former Deputy Keenan Wallace opening fire on the small canine, shortly after responding to a 911 call about an aggressive dog.

In the short clip, you can see the resident of a home outside with two small dogs who are barking and wagging their tails in the front yard.

The homeowner then refuses to go meet the deputy in the street to talk and things take an immediate turn for the worst.

Doug Canady, the owner of the home, is approached by the deputy Keenan Wallace, who almost immediately opens fire on the small Chihuahua.

After receiving a ton of backlash on social media, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement on social media saying that the officer has been fired.
