Sarah Paulson To Play A Minimal Role In “American Horror Story: 1984”

The AHS veteran will not have a significant role in the upcoming season of Ryan Murphy’s hit show, according to Variety.

Sarah Paulson will see limited screen time in the upcoming season of “American Horror Story: 1984.”

According to Variety who first published the news “Paulson will not appear in a significant role in the FX anthology series’ upcoming ninth season,” the report from Variety continued “it is possible Paulson could appear in a cameo.”

So that means no Evan Peters.

There’s lots of speculation from sites like Thrillist, that Jessica Lange won’t be returning as well.

It’s been a while since Sarah Paulson hasn’t been a leading cast member in the AHS franchise. In fact, the last time Paulson didn’t play a significant role in the series was the first season in which she only starred in three episodes.

Paulson is currently busy with many other projects. According to Variety, she is in the process of filming “Mrs. America” for FX and is also going to continue working Ryan Murphy on the Netflix original “Ratched.” Sarah will also appear in three separate films, that will be coming to a theater near you, soon.

The Slasher inspired season of AHS titled “American Horror Story:1984” will premiere on September 18th. Little is known about the upcoming season’s plotline.
